Default MNC2168/69.KIT for C.A.T.S. too?

Dear all,

as my front upper shock bushings are worn I want to replace them. Since there seems to be no vendor for them here in Europe I got to order them in the US.
Before doing so, can anybody please confirm, that the kit MNC2168/69.KIT (e.g. from motorcars ltd.) is suitable for vehicles with C.A.T.S. too? According to JEPC there are two different mount plate assemblies available for vehicles with and vehicles w/o adaptive damping. Do they share the same bushings? If yes, does anybody know, where the differences are?

Best regards and thanks very much, Alexander

The CATS mounts will have a larger bore, since the CATS shocks have a larger upper tube ending so that the wires can pass through it. I'm not sure if there's other differences. If there isn't, if you're getting poly bushings, and the brass plates/washers that hold the bushings come apart in the same way non-CATS washers do, you could probably just drill out the center of the poly pucks to the larger CATS bore.

Thanks for the info! I asked the motorcars guys about my concerns and they replied, that the bushes will be just fine for vehicles with adaptive control shock absorbers. So I'll place my order and keep you updated.
Cheers, Alexander

The bushings will fit for the C.A.T.S. shocks too. No need to drill or to widen up the holes. Fits out-of-the-box.
Cheers, Alexander
