IMHO, I think the bling looked better because it was so abstract. But, I might suggest a black hammer finish (almost like the original plastic tube)? In saying, give it a couple weeks and see what it looks like after full curing and running in the heat of the bay.

Well I blew one of the mids in the Jag I just installed (actually manufacturer defect) so I am redoing the front half of the stereo. Hybrid Audio Technologies was watching my trucks new build (really is best sounding system I ever had) and told my installer I could have an extra extra extra special deal if I tried them out. Figured a few grand in speakers for under $600 would work. lol
This time I am mounting the tweeters on axis but still using the factory locations with billet pods so i wont be cutting up any precious trim parts.

At long last! The Jag can now move its tweeter game up a few notches. Took a bit to get the pods from Germany but they are of very nice quality!
