I was in Wisconsin for a few weeks where the roads are bumpy and full of potholes -- my '03 XJ8 clunked a bit when going over some of those bumps. At first I thought it was the right front, then the left front, and even one time I thought it was the left rear. In any event, I saw a video on this site made by a mechanic who described what all could go wrong or get loose underneath these cars and how to fix them. I decided to wait until I got back home to Florida to take care of it.

Well, the clunks are gone because Florida has smooth roads! LOL

However, I'd still like to take the Jag somewhere and have a trusted mechanic tighten things up for me -- so without further ado (ha ha),

Can anyone recommend (or warn me about) an independent Jaguar mechanic in the West Palm Beach area? Or, can any good mechanic handle this job?

The last thing I need is for someone to tell me that I need $1,000 or more worth or struts or shocks or tie rods, etc. when all I need is for things to be tightened or a bushing or two to be replaced.
