Does anyone know, or can someone measure the thread size of the threaded oil filter nipple that goes into the engine. The thread on the part that goes into the engine block is the specific question. The thread on the part going into the filter is not a problem.

If you happen to have an engine out of the vehicle ... the nipple on other engines is usually removable using a hex bit and should be the same on the AJ27.

If the thread on the engine block is the same as one of the usual standard oil nipple threads, then it would be a 1"x16.
