Hello, I recently bought and started working on a non-running 1998 XJR. After timing chain and tensioner replacement, it's now running. , although not the way it should. I noticed in the engine compartment a plug which is not plugged into anything and for the life of me I can't figure out where it is supposed to go. I'm a newbie here and can't post pictures yet, but maybe someone can identify it by description. It's next to the firewall on top of the engine, right behind the purge valve. It comes up fro

m underneath right next the the wire that plugs into the purge valve. It's only about six inches long, and I just can't find anywhere nearby that looks like it should plug into. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

I'm not sure about the AJ26's, if they came with a MAP sensor?

The connector is for the (missing) accelerometer which bolts to the two vacant studs. If your original CATS shock absorbers have been replaced with non-CATS ones, you don't need it.

That's it, thank you very much. I have no CATS, so no worries.
