Hi folks,

Cooked XJR - run with no water in, valve guides have dropped and some seats have moved too. (inspection with camera down intake)

Will the block be ok? Could it live again with a pair of 3.2/4.0 heads with the XJR cams and the oil galleries blocked, or will the block be ruined too? Nikasil block AFAIK. Not my car but looking to purchase as a bits donor for the X308 Phateon:

(175k Nikasil engine with 9/9/7/7/7/7/5/5 bar compressions - runs, but not in first flush of youth!)
