Oxygene Sensors and the P1646 Error Problem here
Hi
I have a problem with code P1646 on a XJ8 year 1999 model. With my OBD reader i get a value on right hand pre-cat (upstream) Sensor and on the left hand no value...
but it shows me the error on the sensor with also shows the uA value...
Should a good O2 sensor keep showing 0 uA ? ...is there also a way to check the sensors with a multimeter?
Please take a look on my attached OBD reading picture, thankyou!

Hello
I changed the oxygen sensors now; I put the left one (wich works) to the passenger side and bought a used one Denso Sensor (the wide-band right one) for the left side... Error P1646 persists ... Does the year 1999 model have the fule pump relais wich the Error P1646 stand for on older models?!

I know you probably cleared the code if not try clearing it and then also Ive noticed sometimes even though I clear something the best way to rest the system is disconnect the negitive cable touch it to the positive for 30 seconds and then reconnect and see what happens ive found this to help weird elusive BS codes. report back we will get this figured out
