So...you just tolerate the code and keep on driving?

make sure you have good pin tension and then check continuity from AF- and AF+ pump cell circuit from sensor connector to the ECM.

if it all checks out it probably needs an ECM, i’ve done a couple for these before.

yes sir I just keep on driving. I'd rather have it fixed but there's more important things ibcsn do with my money than sink it into a car that only wants more.

If you are driving with a bad O2 sensor, that should really be avoided.
It can lead to an improper air-fuel mixture, causing reduced fuel economy,
increased emissions, and potential damage to the catalytic converter and
engine. Even short distances may cause problems, however prolonged
driving can lead to very expensive repairs, including a clogged catalytic
converter and engine wear beyond what is normal.

Review some of the member posts about using an O2 sensor from a XK8

because those seem less expensive than ones for the X308 and they work
just as well.

The dealer said I needed a new ECU but then I figured out the connector to the ECU was intermittent. They fooled with the ECU and then it started working again. It was later that i found the bad pin in the connector. Probably where the crimp was. I cut a connector from a junk car and soldered it in.
As for cheap O2 sensors, I bought a cheap one from Ebay or Amazon, (don't recall), that claimed it was a replacement. Would get the occasional code from that bank until I bought a real O2 sensor and replaced it.
