Hey there..had a simple question. Just picked up another 2001 Jaguar XJ8 VDP..130k miles..rescued it from being parted out..car is gorgeous. Having a bother trying to get it to start..so we have performed usual checks.. spark/fuel/compression. all seem as they should. checked relays..we pushed the reset in passenger footwell..noticed some wires had been cut and the connector in there had been disconnected.. what are those wires for? Would th connector and cut wires have any bearing on car not starting..??
