It looks great, but somebody put the steering wheel on the wrong side. How are you going to fix that?

Nice car -- I'd miss having the leaper if I lived over there!

Do you drive on the left (the correct side) in Canada?

Looks a well cared for example. The interior is exceptional as driver's seats and console lids in particular usually show scuffing or worse.

LH rear exhaust hanger may be gone - the box looks to be lower than the RH. The rubber insert often splits but it's a low cost and easy fix.

I drove the Jag 505 miles today and worked out I'm getting 27.2 mpg doing 70 mph, not sure if that's good or not.

That does seem extraordinary and will seem even more so to our US members who have a smaller gallon than we do (1 UK gall = 1.20095 US gall).

Did you fill the tank, do the miles and then refill the tank to calculate actual consumption or is that figure from the onboard computer?

I don't trust on board computers so that was calculated by the amount of fuel the tank would take to fill it, that was using super unleaded (97 ron).

Well yesterday the Jag did another 500+ trouble free miles, ive now done 1100 miles in the 3 weeks Ive had her and im averaging 26mpg.

Just had a delivery so I can get her serviced next week, oil filter, new sump plug, fuel filter, air filter, waterpump, thermostat and thermostat housing.

I do like reading posts about trouble free motoring.
Difficult to see clearly in the box but the Thermostat Housing looks as if the body may be roughcast unlike this one where the body has a satin finish:

I got a roughcast one from a UK supplier and the top thread was very poorly machined. it wouldn't allow a watertight seal. Make sure the cap on the one you have screws on evenly and tightly before you start dismantling.
