Default Power Steering Pump Replacement

The power steering pump on my wifes '02 XJR is making some noise and when the engine is running the pulley has a wobble to it.

It sounds like the bearings are going out on it. I priced a part from an online part store but the price is significantly less than the OEM part. They look the same and it has a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty.

The part number I found is CARDONE 21-5288.

Has anybody had to replace their PS Pump and what did you replace it with.

BTW the dealer price is over $700 and the best price I could find on ebay was over $600.

I have had success with their parts on other vehicles.

i just replaced mine if you saw my recent thread. the PS fluid was foaming and leaking from the reservoir. i don't see any difference of any pumps from any brands be frankly as PS pump is not really something will improve your car performance.

should cost around 200 and 2 hours of labor either from your own or mechanic
