Hi Folks
Am new here thus may be answered before but my XJ8 clock bulb and the (P, R, N) forward area of transmission gear locaters seem to have blown bulbs and I cannot source them thus any ideas and are they tricky to fit? Also the temperature/fan ID on the dash only has the right side readable and left side just black (where fan extent shown) but is this worth trying to fix or just leave it? Am in Scotland by the way

Might give a little more insight towards some of your questions. At least in the dash side. Not sure off-hand if the bulbs are the same in the shift indicator, but I know there's a video somewhere elsewhere (maybe even another of Robert's) that shows the removal of the trim pieces around there to get to the bulb underneath.

 

Fantastic Robert and made it look so easy. Bet I have a lot of swearing but here goes....

 

I have found Robert's DIY videos to be really good. Only bad one was the one to work around a bad Security and Locking Module for an errant brake light. He finally had to give up, like most of us, and fix the SLCM.
