Ratting Noise Dash Board Area
Another member on this forum did a great job of
illustrating how to remove the defrost vent covers in order to fix the rattling problem in the car's dash. But it was on an XK. My dash has one long vent cover running along the whole length of the vent with a round ball in the middle.
I am guessing the ball may be a cover to a fastner that holds the vent cover in place. I don't want to force anything and break it.
Has anyone done this rattle fixing procedure on a 1997- 2003 XJ8 ? (X308)
