Has anyone bought some of those leather kits from ebay to re-cover their console top? I want to get mine looking new again. It appears to already be together at the seams and just looks like it stretches over the cover. I dont know if glue is involved or what. Could someone shine some light on this for me? While the top is off, I am going to rebuild the cupholder pivot points with some JB weld. $250 for a "new" console top is just too much for me. Thanks in advance.

 

I spent the Big Bucks for the "new one" and it was really well done. Good luck with your DIY job. Not sure I have the skill for that.
