Hey guys. I had an issue with my rear drivers side door where it would only open from the outside and I was able to successfully fix it without buying any new parts. This may only apply to some of you. I expected the door handle cable to be snapped or frayed. After I removed the door panel I saw that it was in perfect shape and was not the problem. I removed the latch mechanism and saw a ton of crud and build up on it. I removed it and pretty much soaked it in wd40 making sure I manually moved all the parts while doing so. I then reinstalled it and now it works perfectly. It also requires less force to open it on the outside handle. Hopefully this will help someone. It took me about an hour and since I had tools and wd40 it cost me nothing. Good luck!
