remote key.
Looking for new remote. Came across plenty but each usually have disclaimer of "check compatibilty etc etc.", even though it list the particular years. How do one go about check with remote is compatible with a particular car?

If you have a working remote and are adding one just find matching part numbers to those that appear on the back of the remote. If you do not have a working remote contact a Jaguar dealer with your VIN and they can tell you the correct part number for your car. There are usually at least 2 different part numbers for each model year.

well with no remote, looks like, I have to visit the dealership. Well, let me get my interrogation tools. Water, towels, bucket, jug. Check. Blowtorch, pliers, alcohol and salt. Check....
