25 quid . There's cleaner looking ones for more.

With the part number Honda might even sell you a brand new one.

I note the Honda Legend mirror appears to be 5 wire which would suggest it also supports auto headlights, but cannot confirm. I might buy that one myself actually and just eat the shipping, or just have it sent to my Mum's house and grab it next time I'm over.
Thank you.

My mirror has a discoloured oval in it & the auto dip doesn't work which has annoyed me since I got the car. I've just ordered that so I'll see if it works. I think I'll try to fit it into my housing as the colour looks different from memory & that's much tattier than my interior.

The one in the link has pictures that show they didn't much care to
clean it so you would know what you are getting.

That mirror arrived today, it's in better condition than I thought from the pics. What looked like damage was just marks, which makes life easier. Also it is the right colour, I obviously can't remember what colour the interior of my own car looks like after 5 years!

Now I'll have to check how to remove the old one & swap them when I get chance. I guess the interior light bits come out for access? I will check the workshop manual before I do it, but tips are always welcome.

They're a bit of a bitch. There's videos on this too. Same mirror on the acura tl and mdx and honda legend so you might find some resources for those too.

Incredibly carefully unclip the surrounding black trim bits. They will probably break. Do not feel too bad if they do, its not you. the following applies to my x100 XKR, but i assume similar on the x308. someone will correct me.

Gently prise down the plastic interior lighting binacle thingy. its held in with metal tension clips and pulls directly down. disconnect wires. next spray silicone into the mounting area of the mirror and let it penetrate for a while. dont worry about getting it on the windshield. you will clean that later. then you have to kind of wiggle the mirror off the mount. its a little hard to explain, but essentially there's a metal screw that sits in a metal indent, with metal clips either side holding it onto a metal rail, or post. you have to wiggle it off the indent and then it will slide off. it is a literal pain in the neck as you will be in an akward position while doing this. i do not recall the correct direction to slide it in, so look that up. Do not apply levering motion on the windshield, it might break. breaking the windshield while removing the mirror is a known risk. check you glass cover on your insurance before doing this.

Cheers for the tips. At least I'll be able to work out which way the mirror slides from looking at the replacement.

My heated glass doesn't work & there's a stonechip in the screen that's getting worse, so it's not the end of the world if it did all go pear shaped as I know I've got glass cover.

Nice! I think it will try this too, as I am otherwise happy with my Acura TL mirror and really don't want to handle it off the post again lol.

how did you splice it into the jaguar harness?
