My left (passenger) side seatbelt got jammed the other day and wouldn't pull out at all, so I set to fixing it. In the end I didn't need to get the whole thing out even though I'd bought a replacement, but instructions and pics for what I did are available here under "Left front seatbelt fixing":

Thanks for the pictures, I sure hate to open something up without knowing what it looks like inside. Good on you. I never did get the plastic button from the seat belt height adjuster off, so I didn't get the B-pillar cover all of the way off, but there was still room to maneuver the belt around. Thanks again.
