Hi my xj8 1998 has stalled a couple of times while I have been driving at around 55 or 60mph when I start it back up it goes fine no difficulty, is this the throttle body issue? I have read about this problem... Or could it be anything else ?I would like to eliminate any other things first... How do I know if I buy another throttle body that it is the upgraded throttle body..also is it a job for a mechanic or could I do it myself? My thanks in advance Trevor

 

Should have some code(s) if it's a TB issue. Try that first.

 

Camshaft position sensors are oil soaked? Plugged fuel filter? Maybe failing fuel pump.
