Starting problem
Hi all I have a few issues with my 2002 3.2autoXJ8Se Automatic first one is no dipped headlights plus the car sometimes is totally dead even central locking dead to get in her then when I put jump leads on she starts I have fitted a new battery she runs well but I really need to fix this problem I’ll check out the relay on headlights tomorrow but need to fix the starting problem I also noticed that the bonnet earth wire is worn and only connected to bonnet ? I live in South Wales valleys UK

If you are continually facing jumping the battery you most likely have a parasitic drain. Something is grounded or not shutting down as it should. Follow the link below and read thru. I posted a link to a you tube video that has an excellent method of finding the fault.

Headlights
Today I found out why I have no headlights is because the brown relay was missing in fuse box so headlights now fixed but still no front and rear fog lights working ?any ideas
