My 1997 XJR has the traction light on all the time clicking the switch does nothing. I was under the understanding the the ABS and Traction are linked fogether but I have no ABS faults (lights not on)

Disconnecting and reseating the connector at the TC unit and/or wheel speed sensors will sometimes fix a mystery problem.
