XJR is short wheelbase right? Where you located? Kinda rather the XJ8 VP supercharged. I take care of my 84 year old father and like the extra rear room for him or my mother. He is wheelchair bound and the extra room is needed

 

Yeah, the XJR is the short wheelbase, and has a firmer ride. For room and comfort, the VP Supercharged is definitely the better option.

 

You're gonna scare those poor parents to death with a supercharged VDP. A regular VDP has enough horses to get around pretty well. I like your attitude bleedblue427. I always cringe when I hear about people putting Chevy V8s in Jags. I thought you might be a Chevy guy when I saw the "427" in your handle. But maybe you're making reference to the old Ford 427 "cammer", hemi with SOHC. I saw Mickey Thompson's Blue 427 powered Mach I back in the day. That was an experience.

 

Which was based on the FE Block which there was a 427 variant....in both the passenger cars and of course that little car they made a song about...the Cobra.
