transmission woe's again
hi changed fluids back in February, I have driven over 4500 miles since. now my problem again is on cold start up Transmission will not shift to second gear unless I put it into sport mode .after transmission is warmed up no problems . it shifts like a dream, I changed to the updated valve when I changed fluid and filter. any thought's on what this problem might be thanks in advance jrb53

You may want to review figures 5.1-5.3 of the electronics, http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Auto.../jagxj1998.pdf It sounds like you may have to get a diagnostic on it to see what isn't happening when cold. Motorcarman man be a good source for direction there.
