i removed my stock emblem which is gray but got a Burgundy red "Jaguar" coming off from a Vanden plas and "XJR" from the later year model

note that I had to drill a trunk key hole on the "XJR" badge/emblem.

i think they will give more contract to the car body color and more modern look

BTW, my taillights are "darkened" by smoked/tinted paint

I'm not normally negative but I think it looks horrible, the drilled hole and the fact the badge doesn’t fill the recess in the boot lid, sorry just my opinion.

 

well, all comments should be welcome since this is a forum platform. comparing with the original all-weathered out emblems over years. I think this little update is NOT that "horrible".

the original emblem has a hole so I had to drill one as well(with no choice), I wrapped the emblem with masking tape then drilled and slightly filed the surface before removal the tape.a pretty clean drill thou.

yeah, the new emblem is a bit smaller but I have no complaint

 

For my pennies worth. I think the emblems look pretty good, although the XJR emblem is smaller than the depression in the sheet metal I still think it looks okay. Nice job on the cutout.
