Truck?

Opening the door with the key or with the key fob should release the valet mode.

Welcome to the forum lyndades,

If this is the 2004 XJ8 in your profile, it's an X350 and not the earlier steel bodied X308. However, test points' advice about opening with the fob is still relevant to your model for cancelling Valet Mode.

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see.

In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Graham
