This stinks cause this piece helps hold the headliner securley to the roof.

I was in the shop this morning and noticed that I do have a couple in pretty good shape.. One didn't have any cracks at all, and the other only had a few minor cracks around the screws. Email me and I'll be glad to send you some photos..

I have some of these sitting on my bench right now. Have both the flat piece and the visor mount part in gray. I'll check to see if I have them in oatmeal also. First come first serve.

edit: I have a number of interior parts and parts car I'll be adding to classifieds soon. If anything is needed, feel free to pm.

for whatever reason they are usually in good shape on X300. Must be a different type of plastic
I just go a few used ones and painted them the correct color for my 01 XJR

I have these - the one on the left is perfect, but the one on the right has a crack in it at the top left. Let me know if you're interested.

Yes, it is. The colour in the photo is a little off (camera phone!)

I dunno, mine are cracked too. I think it is just the nature of how they are designed. Perhaps if Jaguar had reinforced the bolt holes, or put bushings in them, the "foot cover trim" wouldn't crack.

I found two on eBay a while ago by accident. I search for my interior color code on eBay every so often and see what pops up.

A possible solution to future cracking might be to find some short nylon or brass bushing to put in the mounting holes? Not sure, haven't tried, but maybe an idea to take the stress off of the trim piece itself.

.

I've never seen any cracked, but I am in the UK and plastic doesn't seem to suffer as much as it does in the USA. You might do well to look towards Europe for decent replacements.

I still have the ones I posted above. If anyone wants them let me know as I'm inclined to just throw them out at this point.

Edit :
Someone stuffed the electrical collection firmly inside that hole I had to fish it out, nothing in these cars' is simple when you expect it to be lol.

But @ last it's done, I've got my interior broken & cracked pieces down to just 3 pieces of wood ! It's amazing how such minuscule things draw my attention lol.

Thanks to badger2196 for the hook up !
