Good Sunday aftternoon to you all. The pics belong to my 2000 XJ8. I went to change a battery and found this disconnected wire. It has a female solderless connnector, but for the life of me can't figure out where it attaches.

Thanks a bunch. I'be been reading about these transport relays that are discarded upon delivery. It also seems I need to get better at searching this forum. Thanks for the info.

That question comes up a lot in these forums. It is good to know that some sort of original equipment wasn’t removed.
