Default Where were your X308's wheels made?

I have owned two X308s, and each has had wheels from
different nationalities.

The Pentas on the Sport were emblazoned: "Made in
England"

The Asteroids on the XJR say "Made in Italy"

The XJR R1/ R100 have wheels which will say "Made in
Germany",

So, if you take a look at the back of your wheels' spokes,
you can learn where they were made.

The Asteroids on my XJR were made in Italy.

The gearbox was made in Germany

The air-con compressor & engine management parts are Japanese

Finally, the engine was made in Wales

A thoroughly English car, then

Let's not forget, the supercharger is American, many
of the electrics are Portugese/ Spanish, the steering
is ZF (German) and the car's brain is Japanese!!

Ah yes, those 2 great nations renowned for their prowess in electrical & electronic engineering-Spain & Portugal

All we need now is for someone to discover the light bulbs are made in Russia-then you'd almost have a truly 'global' car

No wonder why Asteroids are some of the best looking wheels...

We can thank Ford and their purchasing power for the leap from the dark old days of Lucas parts that helped give Jaguar the bad rep - I prefer the way Ford assisted Jaguar in the parts department...they went into global production thanks to Ford, but still came rolling out of Coventry's Brown's Lane - last of the true Jaguar's...
