Windsheild gasket and chrome molding.
Hey Guys,
I am in need of a replacement windshield for my 99 XJ8. I had a windshield replacement guy come out last weekend to replace and he informed me that I needed to replace the gasket/seal and the chrome locking molding needed to be replaced also. Is the dealership the only place to source these parts? Is it common to have to replace these parts in the process of replacing windshield. If so what should I expect to pay for both pieces? Thanks for any information and experience with similar issue you can share.
