As a preface, my 2000 XJR has the typical headliner sag, and I've been debating on what to do about it. But yesterday, a friend of mine who runs a salvage yard got in a very well kept X300 XJ6 SWB that had been hit in the nose. The headliner in it is perfect having recently been reupholstered, and is exactly the right color to boot. It is even for a non-sunroof car, which I have been wanting since I was planning to gut my sunroof to save weight and get back some rear headroom for my tall friends who always want to ride in the Jag . So my question is this: will the X300 headliner go right into my X308? I'm really hoping so, since this is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a headliner and I can get it very cheap.

 

physically it should fit, but check the way your car's A,B & C pillars fit, maybe take pictures of both before taking the leap...
