1992 Vanden Plas - Need source for a Key Remote
Hello all,
New to the Jaguars and posted this in the wrong forum. I thought all XJ6's were in the same category. I need a good inexpensive source that you've bought and programmed successfully for your classic XJ6. Is there a single frequency for the 1992?

We currently don't sell a factory keyless entry remote for this vehicle. If you have an existing remote, it is probably a dealership installed or after-market system. Please use our remote search engine to help you identify your replacement remote.

Don't know what system is in your 92, Infra-red or RF ....keylessride has remotes for 93 and 94 MY RF remote cars ..of course your 92 could be a 91 or 93 as well, because model year doesn't always translate to actual model.
The VIN number is the only accurate way of determining what version of the car you have - most of us put our vin in the signature so it's easier to locate the correct info.
