Commodore Wheels on XJ40
Hi All,
Picked up a set of VQ Statesman (GM Holden Commodore for all non Aussies) 15" x 7" wheels fitted with Bridgestone Turanza ER30 225/60/15 tires that had about 80% tread on all four rims to replace the soon to be worn Metric Rims on my recently purchased XJ 40.
I will eventually fit 225/70/15's to these rims which I think is the perfect size for the car... fills the guards out well, brilliant ride and still handle ok given the width... but will wear the tires the rims came with down until then.
For a total cost of AUS$200.00 (wheels and tires) I am pretty happy with the outcomes and also the look... what do you think?

About the only thing that you can do with metric rims is replace them. You've got a nice set of wheels for a fraction of the replacement cost of one metric tyre. Holden rims have always been a good swap for Jag rims.
