Once again I'm here in a slightly frustrated mood hoping the gods of the Jaguar forum have some knowledge to share with me.
I've had this annoying play in the front seats where both the cushion and the backrest will wobble about during accelerating or braking. Ive figured out the cushion part, but I've yet to get acces to the mechanism of the backrest.
I've found two small screws and two larger ones under a plastic cover, but for the love of *"£@ I can't seem to get the knob for the adjustable lumbar support off. There's two screws under the knob, one slightly accessible, one fully dug under the knob, so surely that's not how you remove it.
I've tried prying the knob off, but have broken three things already while trying so. (A bit of leather I tore, cracked the mounting plate AND the knob itself )
Long story short, how do I disassemble the backrest back? How do I remove this knob?

Update:
And luckily one of my followers on insta saved me today.
In contrary to what I first believed, the knob IS held in place by one philips screw, located under the very little center patch.
Lesson of the day, frustration on a hot day doesn't do me good.
