Keyless Remote on 94

Hello Jaguar forums!

Does anyone know how to install a keyless remote on a 94 VDP? The guy who sold me my VDP gave me a aftermarket remote from http://www.keylessride.com/order/quo...1994&model=XJ6

He said if the remote does not work he will be more then happy to return it for me, however i can not program the remote with the car

. If you have a remote on your Jag how did you set it up? The security system on the car works i just can't get the remote to work with it.

I've been told by a locksmith that the x300 uses a rolling code, so none of his aftermarket items would work.
Decide which child you love more, or which kidney you could do without, then start shopping around for a factory item - there were 2 frequencies. 315 and 433khz if i recall correctly. Not sure how to tell which one your car is.
