Almost done with touching up the exterior surface rust spots. Now I am removing the interior mainly to clean it and wash the carpets. It was in pretty good shape. I am putting in an aftermarket cd player and changing out all six "huge" speakers and adding a compact, powered 8" sub that I am mounting between the headrests on the parcel shelf. A few years back when I had a '90 XJ6, I filled a good part of the trunk with amps and subs. Not anymore, I must be getting old but I still want a little base. The XJ40s really had a poor sound setup with 4 3" door speakers and 2 4" bench speakers. I think I read in some XJ40 ad how great their "concert hall" sound system was.....well maybe if you were in the lobby listening to the concert.

PS: My 17" wheels just got delivered today.
