I'm new here, but I've been posting over at the Jag-Lovers forum for a while now.
I was away from home for a few days, and left the Jag parked on the street. Stupid of me. Just a few hours ago when when I got back I noticed a chip in the paint just behind the left passenger door as well as a driveway rock on the wiper. Looks like some neighborhood kid thought it'd be fun to throw a rock at the her.
My question: does anyone know of a place where I could order paint for a reasonable cost? Has anyone used PaintScratch.com? I guess the Marin Jaguar dealership is always an option, but I'd like to consider other options before I spend a fortune there. Thanks!

 

You will need to go aftermarket. The dealers no longer carry these.

 

I'd go for the paint touch up kit from Jaguar. It likely doesn't costanymore than any comparable product, and it is intended for your Jag so the match should be pretty good. I got one for my 93 BRG XJ and the match is great. Some things are best from the dealer beleive it or not. For example I was looking for a set of the headlight washer covers and there was a set on eBay for $14.00 same items from the dealer? $3.95.. go figure.
