a bad relay, bad wiring connections, or the motor Brushes.

Wehad the same problem on ours, try just taking off the door panaling. We took ours off and found out some dumbass mechanic worked on the door handle under the panaling, but unplugged a wire for the window, so it was a simple plug it in solution and our window worked.

I'll check for you, i doon't know anything off the top of my head. i'll look in my book on Xj40s, and also I'm going to the dealer today for my rust, so I will ask about the iwndow there for you
