Recommended parts list for service?
With Range Rovers I know there are specific parts to use on a tune up i.e. champion copper core plugs lucas cap and rotor etc. So what are tried and true parts to use on the 89 Jag xj6?
Also are there any special fluids that are used in the differential or transmission? I've read about the mineral oil for the high pressure system any other jag specifics?

whats up. I havent been on in a while. But I have some info for ya. I have a 93 xj6 and I just did a full tune up this past October using all factory Jag replacement parts, which would include those Champion spark plugs. I ordered everything from Welsh Jaguar down in Ohio. Theyre huge, very friendly, especially this guy named Boone. He'll hook you up with everything you need. Hope this helps!!

Depends how far you want to go with a tune up. Plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Filters: air, fuel, oil, transmission.
No special fluids beyond the mineral oil.
