Same Old Story Fellas, Crank But No Start!...
1990 xj6 4.0 and shes my first Jag. First year was true Love without even a hiccup and this 2Nd yr. she dumped me. No warning or anything. I want her back the way she was. Getting fire to each side of the Coil but nothing coming out the main line. I've changed Ignition Control Module, Crankshaft Sensor, Check Relays, and Fuses with no avail. My on board VCM is punching up a Trouble Code "Fuse 2" , which I have no Idea what this means and having trouble trying to find its meaning.. I have seen many Treads on this same topic, but their are so many things in this Jag that can keep it from starting I am still baffled.
Any Help Would Be Much Appreciated!...
Thank You For Your Time

Translater,
Thanks for the input. I found the meaning of fuse 2 the same night I posted here. Ia am not a Mechanic by any means! I am a semi retired professional musician who has a fancy for great cars and trucks. I am also disabled now sporting only one leg which hinders some of my activities. As far as checking the C1 petrol injection circuit.. I will do that as soon as I know what and where to look.. I do appreciate your response...

As my user name implies I am not a mechanic either, just an enthusiast about all things automotive.
I should have been clearer. If you look at the fuse box either left or right you will see 3 columns. From left to right A, B, C.
So C1 is the top fuse in the 3rd column. The best way of testing a fuse is with a test light or meter accross the fuse with the ignition on. I would test all the fuses in the box whilst you are at it.
Cheers,

Translator,
For and enthusiast you have been a lot of help and I am grateful. I understand what your saying and meaning about C1 now and I intend on checking all the fuses. I have checked most of my relays already just in case and so far they check out fine. I use a test light when ever I do these checks making sure I always check both sides of each fuse.
Like you I am a enthusiast and have a love for all kinds of motor vehicles. I can work my way around them to a certain point and then I find myself asking for help, but i'm learning. Thanks again for your input...

Have checked all fuses and relays, fuse blogged and in line fuses, all good. I still feel that its either my crankshaft position sensor, even though I put a new one on.. It seems that you buy more defective parts right out of the box anymore.. Or it is my ignition control module, or ignition amplifier as some countries call them.. These are just my thoughts though!.. I am still open for suggestions and any other ideas.. The only thing appearing on my VCM code now is the word FAULT, wherever that means.. Other times it shows nothing as if to be alright. Please Help
