i need help wear is the ecu for the door locks my central locking is not working at all all fuse all ok just no power to central locking just need to know wear to fine the ecu for the central lockinig

 

Welcome to the forum, when you get a chance go introduce yourself in the new member section. After 10 posts you can use the search function within the XJ40 section. I know you were looking for a quick answer, but the central door locking is a bit complex. Although I haven't had this issue you have, others have. And have fixed them.

 

The ecu is located under the panel below the glove box. It is the long skinny one in amongst a heap of relays (there should be a diagram listing what is what on the panel). Replacing the contol unit may or may not fix your problem as mrtalkradio said the cental locking can be pretty complex there are numerous threads in this forum which may also help.
