XJR Wheels Fit??

Hasnt been a lot of activity in the XJ40 section recently, I thought I'd fire it back up. If and when I sell my XJ40 and get a different one like I was talking about I'd really like to be able to put those 18" 5 spoke Penta alloy wheels off the 98-2000 XJR. I think that would look pretty damn amazing! Anyone know the bolt patterns, etc if they need to match up or whatver? My knowledge of rims/tires fitment is quite limited...lol. I do know that 18's would def fit my car though because I had that choice before I put the 17's on but didnt have the money for 18s a few years back.

As long as the tire profile is appropriate, you can put just about anything on you want. I have a '93 in for service right now with 20's on it. Who knows if the offset is correct, this same customer loves his bling and has burned up alot of wheel bearings on his previous cars with aftermarket rims. The offset matters , more than just for wheel well clearance concerns.

'98 XJ8 starburst rims (16") do not fit on the front hubs of earlier models. The XJ8Vanden Plas wheels will, and I have a set on a black '91 that actually looks pretty good.

As far as the Pentas, I doubt it. The center hub recess is the key, I don't think they will fit on your front hubs. That's about all I can tell you for sure, email me private if you want to see some pics.

My personal choice is a nice set of Kiwis ('94), they looked better than anything else I put on my '97 VDP and always dress up any XJ40.

Well thats a bummer for those XJR rims, those are so simple looking but awesome at the same time. Now what "kiwi" ones are you talking about? Are those the factory 16 inch alloy ones that were on the majority of the 94 XJ40's??

Pics are always good...haha. You know what wheels I think are really awesome are the 16" Alloys that were on the XJ12's from 93 and 94. Not the BBS ones, but the other optional wider spoked one were sweet, they looked like my million spoke 15" ones but these are way cleaner looking. But since I'm keeping mine now Ill be keeping my chrome ones less I decide to sell them for one of the better factory style wheels. I like my chrome ones so much because they are very close looking to those XJR penta wheels which is why I wanted those!!
