Default 1974 jaguar xj12 help

Hello
As i post in another thread i have coolant leaking problem.
As i know the inlet manifold gets cold throught the coolant system.
I wonder if it is possible to have a leak of coolant inside the chamber?
Thanks.

I'm always willing to be corrected but I'm not aware of any V12 Jag having "wet" inlet manifolds.

Cheers

The V12 does NOT have cooled inlet manifolds, your problem is a head gasket failure (normally through an overheat or corrosion) if you have water in the cylinder or inlet.
Be careful, you can easily crack the liner if you get enough water in the cylinder at the firing stroke. A garage can, by putting air pressure in the cylinder reveal a head gasket leak. The V12 is a "wet liner" engine, and the seal at the top of the liner is just a narrow circle about half an inch wide.
