My catalytic converter cracked and the car is extremely loud. Did a pretty poor welding job that held it over, but I'm going to need to replace it. Does anyone know where I can get the right part? Everything these days is 'universal', and I want to get the right part for the best price.

 

Have you tried any of the 'usual Jag suppliers' ? Coventry West, Welsh Jaguar, SNG Barratt, etc? I strongly suspect any will have a correct fitting and appearing converter. It'll likely be aftermarket but it won't be a 'universal replacement' type.
