I have spent a ton of cash trying to fix my 89 xj6, i have had new front and rear brakes put in , as well as a fuel pump and well lets just say 7,000 worth of work to restore a beautiful car , and the error light on the dash will say low break pressure or failure, until i go over 30 rpm then it shuts off. it says bulb failure only when i turn on headlights, but not a single light anywhere on the car is out, and my favorite, fueling failure, but it has a new pump and filter, and my mechanic had told me its going to say that til i replace the system, that he insists now has nothing wrong with it .....so what gives ? Is there a way to disconnect this warning light on the dash or cut a wire and keep it from blinking. Two different mechanics, top dollar ones I might add, cant get it to shut off, and i am tired of spending the money on the same problem over and over. Please help!

Do you have a Series III........



....................... or an XJ40?

I guess its the xj40, although it says xj6 on back of car , but the headlights are identical to the xj40.
