my 85 S3 has massive leakage from the steering rack, i need repair kits from SNG but not sure which is the right kits to buy for the repairs.

Someone should Kindly assist with the link(s) of the right kits so i can purchase them for my repairs.

You can also suggest where i can buy them if not from SNG

Here is what I discovered when I rebuilt my rack.- eBay Steering Rack rebuild kit JLM10863 (this is complete kit)

- SNG Steering Rack Seal Kit JLM10834 (this kit is not comp)

I ordered the SNG kit first and as I was matching up all the old seals with the new ones, I couldn't find one of the replacements, it didn't come in the kit. I called SNG and them confirmed that particular seal was not included. I end up searching for an alternative and found one on eBay, exactly what was needed all in one kit. SNG offered to refund me if I sent theirs back, but I thought I would just keep it for spares.

I ordered an extra pinion seal and probably for good reason because I don't have an extra one in my spares box.

Mikeag, that number and item might have been a limited selection and no longer available from that supplier. I entered "1985 xj6 steering rack seal kit" in eBay and this one looks and sounds like the same thing I bought.
