I posted this in the wrong forum. I apologize.

I have a long time customer's 1996 XJ6 in the shop for a no start. Vehicle was working fine and went out to start and would not click or turn over. Check the battery, dash and interior lights come on but no response. Now, he did say that last summer the car would not come out of park unless he hit the steering wheel. Any ideas?
One person was kind enough to suggest the shift interlock fuse and that is good.
Any help would be appreciated.
