97 XJ6 overheating

97 XJ6 overheating
My 97 XJ6 got a low coolant light and overheated to red line. Mechanic tightened put hoses and refilled coolant. I drove it one half hour and it overheated to red line but didn't loose any coolant. What do you think is wrong?
