Some 8 blown fuses later I am up and running. Probelm is now Alernator does not charge battery. Is there a fuse for the alternator and where is it located? Am I up the creek and need new alternator becasue voltage regulaotr may be fried? Any help please!

Shouldn't be a fuse in the alternator circuit AFAIK. The alternator has probably been damaged. They've generally got some diodes and a regulator which can blow.

Advance is up the creek, not you. They owe you an alternator.
