Default Better 7 inch headlights

I've got some 7 inch headlight to swap into my SIII sometime this winter. However once of the sealed beams it has is cracked and need replacing.

I know there is a Hella vision plus kit out there that converts the sealed beams to H4 halogen bulbs which is an improvement.

However, is there any HID-xenon-ballast kits out there that use quality glass style 7 inch bulb housings rather than plastic? I know there are lots of cheap kits out there but I'll bet they don't look good with the clean lines of the SIII.

Have a look at these. Dip/main is by a solenoid to move the bulb back and forwards.

Just a fresh set of regular sealed beams can do wonders. Been there, done there, done that!!!

That Moss product could be interesting. I wonder if they did something to make the xenon bulb light pattern somehow compatible with the reflector design for a halogen bulb. I will contact them and see if there is some secret sauce to this kit that distinguishes it from the many xenon/halogen reflector kits that don't work well at all.

I'm going to go with one of those bi-xenon kits to replace the halogens H4 bulbs.

I know this kits has a ballast per bulb and an extra control/relay box as well. Naturally I would like to hide these foreign boxes to keep the engine compartment looking original but at the same time I want them located where I can easily get at them if I need to trouble shoot.

Wondering if anyone has done this popular mod on a SIII XJ6 and found a good spot to locate the extra electrical gear?
