Hi i'm new here and just picked up a 1968 xj6 imported from holland and its got some horrible 16x? wheels on it that rub... anyway like to get some series 1 chrome and have the widened to a 15 x7? any one know of the right offset? gonna run a 235 60 15 tire?? Or anyone know of a newer generation rim/tire that would fit thats bigger and would fill the wheel well without rubbing?

Why not just fit the stock 15 x 6 wheels with 205/70 R 15 tyres ? Or you could go to 215 like the V12. A nice set of pepper pot wheels or a set off an XJS would do the trick. Or can't you get these tyres in the US ?

 

So thanks anyways i found a set wheels off a 2001 vanden plas xj8 that are 16 x7 10 spoke that fit perfect just gonna have to make small mod to make front cap fit... thanks
